Willmar Lake Area Chamber of Commerce president hospitalized after heart event

Willmar Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce Ken Warner

Willmar Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce President Ken Warner suffered a heart event Sunday morning and is currently hospitalized at the St. Cloud Hospital.

Warner, 60, was able to drive himself to Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar and was later transferred to St. Cloud.

Chamber board chair Pat Solheid has talked to Warner this morning.

“He is in good spirits and is currently hospitalized … and waiting for results from additional testing,” Solheid said in a statement.

Warner was recently named Executive of the Year by the Midwestern Association of Chamber Executives at their annual conference in Sioux Falls.

Warner has been the chamber president since October 1997.

The Willmar Lakes Area Chamber has more than 575 members doing business in Willmar and Kandiyohi County.
