Crash injures one near Hawick
HAWICK – A Paynesville man was injured in a two vehicle crash Wednesday night east of Hawick.
According to the State Patrol, Logan Michael Kascht, 19, was traveling east on state Highway 23 when his 2006 GMC Sierra was struck by a 2012 GMC Sierra that was going north on Roseville Road and failed to yield at the intersection.
Kacht’s vehicle went into the median and rolled.
He was taken the CentraCare Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries, according to the State Patrol.
The driver of the 2012 Sierra, John Cleveland Bills, 59, of Glendale, Arizona, was not injured.
The Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene of the crash, which was reported at 5:20 p.m.
