WILLMAR - The Rice Memorial Hospital board of directors approved a series of agreements Monday for creating a new entity to deliver health care services to the region in partnership with Affiliated Community Medical Centers and CentraCare Health.
The new entity, to be known as Carris Health, will operate as a subsidiary of CentraCare Health. Members of the Rice Hospital Board voted unanimously Monday to recommend approval of the agreements, which include the formal affiliation agreement and a lease agreement, to the Willmar City Council. The council is expected to discuss the recommendation at its upcoming work session Nov. 6. Follow wctrib.com today and the West Central Tribune Tuesday for further details.
