Grain dryer fire

LAKE LILLIAN — Fire departments from Cosmos and Lake Lillian responded to a grain dryer fire Wednesday night. The fire was reported at around 8:40 p.m. at a farm in the 17000 block of 195th Street Southeast in Lake Lillian. The Cosmos Fire Department received the initial call and requested mutual assistance from the Lake Lillian Fire Department. Crews were on the scene for about two hours helping remove corn from the dryer. There were no injuries reported.

Litchfield man injured

LESTER PRAIRIE — A Litchfield man was injured Wednesday night after the vehicle he was driving rear-ended a tractor and chisel plow.

According to the State Patrol, Nathan Andrew Duehlmeier, 38, was driving a 2000 Buick LeSabre east on state Highway 7 in McLeod County when the vehicle collided with a 2002 John Deere Tractor and chisel plow driven by Jordan Joseph Fasching, 21, of Winsted.

Duehlmeier was taken to the Waconia Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the State Patrol.

Bike accident

WILLMAR — A bicyclist escaped injury after his bike collided with a car Thursday morning.

According to the police report, Reed Alan Berget, 57, of Willmar was riding a bike south on Seventh Street Southwest when he collided with a 2010 Ford Fusion driven by Abdirisaq Mohamed Ahmed, 37, of Willmar that was going west on Becker Avenue Southwest.

The accident was reported just before noon.

Vandalism

NEW LONDON — Damage was reported Wednesday evening at the Ryane Clark Memorial that was developed in honor of the New London man who was killed in 2010 in while serving in the military in Afghanistan. A granite rock that contained plaques as part of the memorial were reportedly moved.

WILLMAR — Graffiti and vandalism were reported Tuesday morning to a stop sign and exit at Eagle's Landing at the intersection of Eagle Ridge Avenue West and First Street West, Willmar, on.

WILLMAR — A lock was damaged on a property on the 3700 block of Highway 12 East in Willmar, it was reported Wednesday.

Identity theft

WILLMAR — A report of identity theft was reported at 8:23 a.m. Thursday in the 400 block of Sixth Street Southwest.

Thefts

SPICER — A rural resident reported Tuesday morning the theft of several items from his property on the 9000 block of 60th Street Northeast, Spicer on.

WILLMAR — A wallet was reported stolen Wednesday morning from a residence on the 500 block of Becker Avenue Southwest in Willmar.
