Motorcycle passenger injured in crash in Grove City, Minn.

LITCHFIELD — A motorcycle passenger was injured in a two-vehicle crash Friday morning in Grove City.

The Meeker County Sheriff’s Office said Corrine Holmen, 55, of Comfrey was taken by Gold Cross Ambulance to Meeker Memorial Hospital in Litchfield.

She was a passenger on a Honda motorcycle operated by Norman Holmen, 55, also of Comfrey. The sheriff’s office identified the other driver as a 16-year-old from Lake Lillian, who was behind the wheel of a 1994 Buick Regal.

The crash happened at 11:35 a.m. at the intersection of Third Street North and Atlantic Avenue in Grove City. Along with the sheriff’s office and Gold Cross Ambulance, Grove City Fire and Rescue and the Minnesota State Patrol were at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation by the State Patrol.
