Willmar, west central Minn. in storm watch starting Tuesday night

WILLMAR -- Central and northern Minnesota will likely see the heaviest snow accumulation Tuesday and Wednesday, but Willmar and the rest of west central Minnesota are in a winter storm watch starting Tuesday evening.

The National Weather Service says significant snowfall is possible, with some areas in the storm watch seeing 6 inches or more.

Willmar, Benson, Granite Falls, Litchfield, Montevideo, Olivia and Redwood Falls are all in the storm watch.

The Weather Service cautions that there is still much uncertainty about the exact track of the storm anda the timing of a low-pressure system forecast to pass across Minnesota and Wisconsin between late Tuesday and Thursday.
