Winter is not done, Snow expected Sunday night

While area rivers continue to flood, snow and rain could be headed for west central Minnesota this weekend.

According to the National Weather Service, a low pressure system could move out of the Rockies and produce a few inches of snow over parts of central Minnesota and west central Wisconsin.

The path of the system is still uncertain, but at this point the snow is expected to fall near and north of a line from Alexandria to Little Falls.

Minnesota rivers are expected to remain above flood stages at least through the end of next week.
