Fireman dies in Glenwood, Minn., cause under investigation
GLENWOOD -- The cause of death for a 23-year-old Glenwood man is under investigation by the Glenwood Police Department.
According to a news release from Glenwood Police Chief Dale Danter, officers found Matthew Chan unresponsive and not breathing when they were called around 6:45 p.m. Monday to the Glenwood Fire Department.
Members of the fire department, Glacial Ridge ambulance personnel and police officers administered first aid and Chan was taken to the emergency room at Glacial Ridge Hospital.
Chan was later pronounced dead at the hospital. He was a member of the fire department.
