MACCRAY 'yes' group sees improved opportunities in single campus

Noah Hultgren, a farmer who lives in the MACCRAY School District, adjusts the "Vote No" sign in his yard Thursday. While the impact of a MACCRAY bond issue on agricultural property taxes are of concern to him, Hultgren said he opposes the bond question in any case because he wants to keep the current three-campus system in Maynard, Clara City and Raymond. Brent Olson is an accomplished author, farmer and Big Stone County Commissioner, and more recently, a Bush Fellow who has devoted four years of early morning hours as a short order cook at the Inadvertent Cafe. He wants the Clinton cafe and its community kitchen to serve as the model for a local foods and value-added processing economy in rural communities.
