Lake Lillian man hurt after falling while trimming trees

 

LAKE LILLIAN  – A 54-year-old man was airlifted for medical care after falling about 25 feet while trimming trees around 4 p.m. on Friday at a residence about 1 ½ miles east of Blomkest on state Highway 7.

The Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office reported that the man was trimming trees in the yard when a branch fell and struck the ladder causing him to fall.

He had several injuries. He was airlifted from the scene by Life Link Air Ambulance and reported in stable condition. No current information is available on injuries or condition, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

The Sheriff’s Office along with the Lake Lillian Ambulance, Willmar Ambulance and Blomkest First Responders assisted at the scene.
