SMSU Planetarium plans for the total eclipse

MARSHALL — The Southwest Minnesota State University Planetarium in Marshall will present shows on the eclipse at 7 p.m. Aug. 16, 17, 18 and 19. The shows will cover many details of the eclipse, including eye safety. Special eclipse viewing glasses will be available for $3 each at the planetarium shows.

Admission is $5. Tickets are sold at the door only.

The planetarium is tucked back in the college. Park in the front north lot along state Highway 23. Take the first wide sidewalk going west alongside the Individualized Learning Center; it is in the Science and Math building on a small square.
