Former Minn. Rep. Arlan Stangeland dies
DETROIT LAKES, Minn. – Arlan Stangeland, who served as Minnesota’s 7th Congressional representative from 1977 to 1990, died Tuesday in Detroit Lakes.
He was 83.
Dobmeier Funeral Home in Barnesville is in charge of arrangements.
The funeral home’s director, Duane Morey, said Stangeland died at Essentia Health St. Mary’s hospital after a sudden illness.
