Donald Todora was so tiny when he was born 70 years ago that his parents called on the nuns at the Catholic Church of St. James in St. Paul to pray for him. Todora was born three months premature on Oct. 18, 1946, at St. Luke's Hospital. He weighed 1 pound, 12 ounces, and spent three months living in a hospital incubator.
