The Lakers put two runners on when Olson hit a batter and walked another. Ditterich came in to get Justin Johnson and James Cortez at the top of the order for the final two outs.

Olson allowed five hits, walked six and fanned nine over 8Zc innings.

Willmar got only three hits off three Laker hurlers. Lakers' starter Alex Lotthammer walked five of the first seven hitters he faced, which forced in two runs.

The Lakers tied it 2-2 in the third on an RBI double by Justin Johnson and an RBI ground out by Jordan Johnson.

Willmar scored an unearned run in the bottom of the third inning. Jason Otte walked, then stole second and came around on an infield error.

That was all the scoring as Erik Ellingboe and then Grant Johnson combined to blank the Rails on three hits over 7Zc innings.
