The 'Living Last Supper' drama set Sunday in Benson
BENSON — "The Living Last Supper" will be presented at 7 p.m. Sunday at Our Redeemer's Lutheran Church, 800 10th St. S., in Benson.
"The Living Last Supper," a dramatic musical experience for Holy Week, was written by Ruth Elaine Schram. The directors of the drama are Duaine Flanders and Paul Kittelson.
The choir, which also features voices from area churches, is under the direction of Jan Goff. The accompanist is Candyce Sowers, flutist is Sarah Skarsten and violinist is Jordan Paulson.
Servant girls are Jessica Young and Morgan Schmidt.
The players, in order of appearance, are: Grant Herfindahl as Jesus; Randy Pederson as Simon Peter; Rolfe Gomer as Andrew; Jeremy Abrego as James, the Lessor; Dennis Rustad as James, son of Zebedee; Arlon Lee as Matthew; Matthew Anderson as Simon, the Zealot; Erick Hedman as Bartholomew; Richard Syverson as Philip; Brian Samuelson as Thaddaeus; Mark Holtan as John; Brian McNeill Thomas; Ron Hanson as Judas Iscariot.
Members of seven different churches in the area make up the 12 disciples for the community event.
The dramatic musical is billed as "appropriate for all ages." A freewill offering will be received.
