Two arrested in New London for drug activity
NEW LONDON — Two suspects were taken into custody Tuesday after the CEE-VI Drug and Gang Task Force, with assistance from the Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Office, executed a narcotics search warrant in the 100 block of Pine Avenue Southwest in New London.
A 26-year-old male and a 21-year-old female were arrested after methamphetamine, marijuana and marijuana extract were found in the house, the task force said in a statement Thursday.
Charges also are pending against a 24-year-old male who reportedly lives at the residence but was not present when the search warrant was executed, the task force said.
NEW LONDON — The theft of a boat motor was reported Thursday to the Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Office. The motor was reported stolen from an address on 240th Avenue Northeast, north of New London.
SPICER — A dog was placed under a 10-day quarantine after a bite incident reported Thursday on Miller Street in Spicer.
A notification of a potentially dangerous dog also was delivered to the owner by the Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Office.
