Willmar School Board meets Monday to discuss annual audit

WILLMAR — The Willmar School Board will hear a report on the school district's annual audit when it meets at 4:30 p.m. Monday in the boardroom at the Willmar Education and Arts Center.

The audit covers the fiscal year which ended June 30. The Conway, Deuth & Schmiesing accounting firm of Willmar conducted the audit.

The management analysis in the audit report indicates that the district's revenue was spent primarily on instruction and student services, a total of 78 percent. Other expenses included food service and building maintenance. Administrative costs were 3.5 percent of the total.

The board plans to award a contract for the Willmar Senior High School pool dehumidification project.
