One injured in crash near Hawick

HAWICK — A 25-year-old man was injured in an accident at 7:53 a.m. Monday on Minnesota Highway 23 near Hawick, the Minnesota State Patrol reported.

Tanner Caldwell of Hawick was treated at the hospital in Paynesville for non-life-threatening injuries.

Caldwell was driving a 2003 Chevrolet S-10 pickup and attempting to turn into a driveway about one mile east of Hawick in Roseville Township of Kandiyohi County. The pickup was rear-ended by a 2005 Cadillac Deville driven by Paul Arnold Pearson, 61, of New London, according to the Patrol. The Chevrolet rolled and came to a rest in the ditch.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts. Pearson did not report any injuries.

Thefts

WILLMAR — A large, gray clay pot, a cart and small end table with a multi-colored top were taken from a front yard on the 2200 block of 20th Street Southwest, Willmar, it was reported Monday.

SPICER — A pickup truck tool box with a diamond plate cover was reported stolen on Saturday on the 11000 block of 161st Street Northeast, Spicer.

Suspect banned for plugging toilet

WILLMAR — A suspect was identified by Willmar police and issued a trespass notice banning him from the Dairy Queen after staff reported that on multiple occasions he plugged the toilet with various items at the business on the 2100 block of First Street South.
