Amateur Football: Broncos edge Brainerd 7-6

NEW LONDON — Joel Bauman scored on a 10-yard run and the West Central defense recovered two fumbles and had four sacks in the Broncos’ 7-6 win over the Brainerd Lumberjacks on Saturday at the New London-Spicer field.

Bauman rushed for more than 100 yards for a fourth straight game.

The Broncos next against the Granite City Renegades at 6 p.m. Saturday at the New London-Spicer High School.
