Wolbeck, Paynesville slam NL-Spicer, 14-2

PAYNESVILLE -- Eric Wolbeck hit a grand slam to deep right-center field to jump start the Paynesville offense and the Bulldogs went on to a 14-2 rout of New London-Spicer in non-conference baseball action on Monday.

Freshman Jason Kamp-sen earned his second win of the season for the Bulldogs. He hurled four innings and allowed four hits and one walk, while striking out four. Aaron Savelkoul pitched the final inning and gave up one hit.

Jordan Lieser, Casey Hess, Shane Kampsen, Savelkoul and Jake Deadrick had two hits apiece for Paynesville (8-3).

Luke Peterson, Kevin Soine, Jack Hartley, Taylor Dammermann and Jack LaPatka each had a hit for New London-Spicer.
