MACCRAY cruises past Blackjacks

RAYMOND -- Jordan Ruter belted a grand-slam home run and Shaun Condon added a two-run homer as MACCRAY stymied Dawson-Boyd 17-1 in a Camden Conference baseball game on Thursday.

The Wolverines (9-1, 14-1) won their fifth straight game, invoking the 10-run rule after five innings.

Caleb Hansen hurled four innings for the win, allowing only a home run to Jake Bothun on the first pitch of the game. He walked three and struck out three. Condon pitched a hitless inning of relief.

Condon's homer came in the first inning and Ruter's in the third. Ruter, Condon, Hansen, Tyler Dammann, Tyler Wrede and Kelly Siverhus had two hits apiece for MACCRAY, which scored 10 runs in the third inning.

Dawson-Boyd fell to 1-11, 1-12.
