Amateur Baseball: Rockets curb Tracy Express, 10-7

RAYMOND -- The Raymond Rockets scored runs in bunches to beat Tracy 10-7 in a non-league amateur baseball game Wednesday.

The Rockets (13-2) scored four runs in the second, two more on Ben Ruter's double in the third, one in the fourth on Tyler Steen's home run and another three runs in the sixth to take a 10-4 lead.

Tracy (6-7) plated three in eighth.

Nate Hebrink picked up the win, allowing four runs on six hits in six innings. Ron Hoekstra pitched three innings for the save.

Ruter and Jason Meyer collected two hits each.
