Amateur Baseball: Meyer sparks Rockets past Marshall A's, 12-0

RAYMOND -- Jason Meyer hit a three-run homer in the sixth inning and a two-run single in the fifth and Raymond went on to rout the Marshall A's 12-0 in a non-league amateur baseball gamne on Wednesday night.

Tyler Knott went the distance in the seven-inning game, scattering eight hits for the win. He walked none and struck out seven.

Meyer finished 2-for-4 with five RBI. Tyler Steen went 2-for-4, including a two-run singel in the fifth. Mike Jeseritz was 3-for-4.

Derek Saulsberg, Nate Kopi and Chad Pollock had two hits each for Marshall.

Raymond improved to 18-3.
