Area players compete in All-Star game

ST.CLOUD -- Four area players competed with the Outstate All-Star team in a 54-13 loss to the Metro team in the Minnesota High School All-Star Football Game Saturday at Husky Stadium on the St. Cloud State University campus.

Willmar's Jordan Smith caught two passes for 10 yards and punted 12 times for a 33.3-yard average, including a long of 76 yards. Litchfield's Nic Johnson rushed three times for nine yards, Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg's Taylor Freetly had one catch for 25 yards and Benson's Aaron Lindahl made two tackles.
