Boys Soccer: Willmar nipped by Alexandria, 1-0

WILLMAR -- Alexandria remained unbeaten in the Central Lakes Conference with a 1-0 win over the Willmar Cardinals on Tuesday.

The only score of the match came in the fifth minute. On a free kick from the side, Kirby Nelson sent the ball to the goal. Keeper Josh Freitas got his hands on the ball but couldn't control it and Sam Johnson pounced on it from about six feet for the score.
