The Ridgewater College Theatre presents "Beyond Therapy" at 7:30 p.m. tonight through Saturday at the Willmar campus theater.

This Christopher Durang production, directed by Colin Wasmund, is for mature audiences only.

In the production, Bruce, played by Martell Harris, and Prudence, played by Aimee-Marie Holland, are in therapy. Prudence's macho therapist, Stuart, played by M'Angelo Harris, is urging her to be more assertive while Bruce's wacky female therapist, Charlotte, played by Cassandra Dahmes, wants him to meet women by placing a personal ad. She does not fully comprehend that Bruce has a male lover and roommate, Bob, played by Jordan Dettmann, who is not pleased by Bruce's desire to date a woman: Prudence.

Bruce doesn't know how to handle poor nervous Prudence and Prudence doesn't know what to make of her unpredictable new boyfriend. They do learn to live beyond therapy in this "delightful" off Broadway-hit that moved successfully to Broadway.

Also cast in the production is Brian Dempcy as Andrew, the waiter.

Tickets can be reserved by calling Sally Borgos at 320-222-7605. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for senior citizens. Ridgewater students may receive one free ticket with their student ID.
