H-R female nominee: Bree Holleman of Hancock

VOLLEYBALL: A five-time starter, five-year letterwinner and five-time all-conference performer. She finished her career as an outisde hitter/libero with 581 kills, 162 ace serves and a school-record 1,087 digs. Hancock went 21-7 her senior year and won the Pheasant Conference title with Holleman producing 240 kills and 219 digs.

BASKETBALL: Holleman became the area's all-time scoring leader with 2,305 points th this past winter, her fifth straight year as a stater and all-conference player. The point guard also earned All-Area honors four times. She led the area in scoring twice and she also helped the team finish as Class A state runnerup in 2007. She also had 305 three-pointers, 616 rebounds, 639 assists and 338 steals in her career.

TRACK/SOFTBALL: Holleman earned two letters in track, competing in the 800 and 1600 runs, as well as relay teams for Hancock. In softball, Holleman started and lettered two years in the outfield for Benson/Hancock before switching to track. She batted .240 in her career.
