WILLMAR -- Ridgewater rallied in the second game of a doubleheader Sunday with Fergus Falls to avoid losing three of four with the Spartans over the weekend.

Sunday started with Fergus Falls unleashing a 16-hit attack to drub Ridgewater 13-3. A three-run homer from winning pitcher Spencer Kidder in the first inning ignited the rout. The Spartans stretched a four-run lead to 10 after plating six runs in the sixth.

Ridgewater edged Fergus Falls 2-1 in Saturday's opener before Fergus Falls won the second game 4-2.

The Warriors host Western Wisconsin Tech in a postponed doubleheader today at 1 p.m. at Bill Taunton Stadium.
