Started program and head girls golf coach 1972-2003 -- 8 section titles, 1st in state Class AA in 1985 (1st Willmar team for any sport to win state title), 3-time state runner-up and one 3rd; 7 CLC titles, 52 1st or 2nd-place finishes at invites.

Other coaching -- gymnastics (1965-94), track and field (1968-71). One of several local women who were early advocates while serving as coaches for interscholastic sports.

Officiating -- Swimming and diving official 1968 to present; gymnastics judge at state meet (vault) and Region 8AA meet referee for 14 years.

Honors -- Section 2AA Girls Golf Coach of the Year 9 times ... 1st woman inducted in the Minnesota State High School League Golf Coaches Association Hall of Fame (2004) ... MSHSCA Girls Golf Coach of the Year 1990 and '91 ... Cardinal Pride HOF 2005 with 1985 state championship team ... MSHSL HOF (2006) ... MSHSCA Distinguished Service Award for officials and 40-year MSHSL Service Award (2007) ... Minnesota Coalition of Women in Athletic Leadership Special Merit Award (2010).

Education -- Crookston High School, Macalester College, St. Cloud State (also taught in Marshfield, Wis., and New London-Spicer) .... Physical Education Teacher (1963-2003).
