DAWSON -- Big crowds for big games.

The huge Dawson-Boyd gym was rockin' on Friday night and the two parties from the Camdem Conference delivered a thriller.

The Blackjacks led almost the entire game but couldn't put MACCRAY away until the final seconds of overtime 80-75.

In the fading moments of the three-minute extra session with the Blackjacks up 76-75, Nathanial Huot sank 4-of-4 at the line around a Wolverines missed 3-point attempt to create the final margin of victory.

The Wolverines (9-1, 14-5) suffered their first loss in the Camden circuit; The Jacks went to 11-1 and 16-2 with their eighth-straight win since losing 65-64 at Clara City on Jan. 13. D-B's only other loss was at Montevideo; the same Thunder Hawk team beat MACCRAY on Thursday.

The Wolverines only leads were at 3-2 and 47-45 but what a finish to regulation.

Huot, who was 13 of 14 shooting free throw, sank a twosome with a minute left for a 63-57 Dawson advantage.

Riley Aeikens had a quiet first half but had come alive after intermission. With time running out, the 6-foot-6 senior guard drained a long 3-pointer to close the DB lead to 63-60. Huot made 1 of 2 at the line and Aeikens came down and hit another trey from well above the arc and it was 64-63 with 8.0 seconds left. Two more by Huot at the charity line and DB was back up 66-63. Again, Aeikens zipped across the time line and from 24-feet tied the game 66-66 with another triple with 1.1 left in regulation.

Aeikens finished with 30 points.

Michael Lee gave DB a quick 69-66 lead in OT with a trey to put his team in front where it would stay.

Zach Stelter, a 6-1 senior forward, had a huge game for the Blackjacks with 23 points and 13 rebounds. Huot ended up with 21 points, Joey Lee 12 points and 7 assists and Evan Robertson 10 points and 8 rebounds.

Brady Boike finished with 14 points and Corey Abbas 12 for MACCRAY, which shot 49 percent on 27 of 55 from the floor.
