Amateur Baseball: Soine, NLS shut out Regal

SPICER -- Scott Rambow's two-run home run in the first inning provided all the runs New London-Spicer starter and winner Kevin Soine would need in the Twins' 5-0 County Line League win over Regal on Friday at Green Lake Diamond.

The Twins are 2-4 in the league, 5-5 overall, and they play another County Line game against Paynesville at 6:30 p.m. today in Spicer.

Rambow drove in a fifth-inning run with a sacrifice fly, and Tyler Horning capped the scoring with a two-run homer in the eighth.

Soine worked a complete game, allowing six hits while striking out five.

Rambow was 3-for-3 and Mike Danielson was 2-for-4.

Regal's Chris Beier had two hits, and Shane Radermacher took the loss.
