College volleyball: Warriors sweep St. Cloud Tech

ST. CLOUD -- Ridgewater made quick work of St. Cloud Technical College, sweeping the Cyclones 25-14, 25-17, 25-18 on Wednesday in St. Cloud.

The Warriors (6-1) were paced by Kelsey Stommes, Kelci Viesselman and Brittany Nissen, who combined for 20 kills, and Alex Horton, who racked up 7 ace serves.

Tiffani Karbo had 20 sets and Stommes and Horton each had 1 ace block.

"I thought for the most we controlled play really well (and) we served aggressively," Warriors' head coach Joe Sussenguth said.

Sussenguth added that they weren't as efficient offensively as he thought they would be.

"There's always things we can improve on, but for getting another road win I think we'll be pretty satisfied coming out where we did," he said.

The Warriors are off until Wednesday, when they travel to Worthington to play Minnesota West.
