GROVE CITY - Montevideo softball mashed at the plate at the start of game two of Tuesday's doubleheader against ACGC but it was Jasmyn Kronback's two-run single that helped the Thunder Hawks to an 11-10 win.

The T-Hawks won the opener 12-5.

In Game One, the Thunder Hawks started the game with a bang, as Abby Olson hit a three-run home run and Kaylee Glomstad hit a grand slam as part of an eight run first inning. The outburst came after the Falcons scored five of their own in the top of the first.

The Falcons added three in the fourth inning and two in the sixth to take the lead heading into the final frame but Kronback's single put Montevideo on top for good.

The Thunder Hawks took an early lead in the first game as well, scoring three runs in the opening inning. ACGC kept things close until the sixth inning when Montevideo's power proved to be too much once again. Ashley McKee hit a three-run home run and Sydni Streich added a solo shot as part of a seven run sixth inning.
