MINNEAPOLIS -- While no Minnesota Twins are in line to win this year’s MVP award, their beloved first baseman may have just won MVC (Most Valuable Costume).

On Tuesday, Oct. 31, the Twins social media team treated fans to a barrage of various Halloween photos of Twins players and their families. Among Twins players participating in the fun were pitcher Kyle Gibson, infielder Eduardo Escobar, second baseman Brian Dozier and first baseman Joe Mauer, just to name a few.

Mauer’s photo garnered the most engagement on Twitter with just over 1,500 retweets and nearly 9,500 likes. The photo is of Mauer and his twin daughters dressed up as “beauties and the beast.”

Gibson and his family dressed up as “Gibby Locks & the Three Bears,” while Escobar and his son dressed up as pirates.
