College softball: Ridgewater wins two of three

ROSEMOUNT — It was feast or famine for the Ridgewater College softball team Friday at the Irish Sports Dome.

The Warriors pounded out a combined 26 hits in 13-5 and 14-0 wins over Minnesota West and Fond du Lac, respectively, but were held to just two hits in a 2-0 loss to Rainy River.

It was the first game action for Ridgewater since the Warriors went 3-3 during their annual Florida trip March 9-11.

The Warriors are now 5-4 overall and are scheduled to host St. Cloud Technical next Friday in a MCAC South doubleheader.
