CLEARWATER — Senior Cody Magnuson shot a 76 on nines of 37 and 39 to pace a strong showing Thursday by the Willmar Cardinals at Eagle Trace in the second Central Lakes meet of the condensed season.

All six shooters came in under 85 with the four-best posting a 317.

That was good for second place at 317; Alexandria finished with a meet-low 310.

Willmar and St. Cloud Tech are tied for first with 15 points just ahead of Alexanria with 14 and Fergus Falls with 13.

Also for Willmar, Tony Kallevig shot 78, Levi Hauser 81 and Zech Streed 82.

Willmar is at the New London-Spicer Invite today.

Litchfield won a pre-section meet at Pebble Creek GC Thursday with a 312 — five shots better than Wright County Conference rival Delano — as junior Josh Polingo paced the way for the Dragons with a medalist round of 2-under 70.

Litchfield will be at Little Crow CC today for the New London-Spicer Invite that starts at 10 a.m.
