Boys Golf: Willmar's Kallevig ties for 2nd at Alexandria Invite

ALEXANDRIA — Willmar’s Tony Kallevig shot 74 to tie for second place and help lead the Cardinals to a fourth-place finish at the Alexandria Invitational on Thursday.

The Cardinals shot 314, just eight strokes back of Alexandria I, which placed first at 306.

Kallevig and two other golfers tied Owatonna’s Tom Urch at 74 but Urch won a tiebreaker for first.

Willmar’s Levi Hauser followed Kallevig at 76 and Zech Streed shot 80.

The Cardinals play in a Central Lakes Conference meet at noon on Tuesday at Wapicada Golf Club in Sauk Rapids.
