Two future doubleheaders are on tap for the Minnesota Twins and Chicago White Sox after each of the last three contests of their four-game series this past weekend were postponed due to a snowstorm.

The Twins announced makeup dates for the three games Monday. The first postponed game (Friday) will be played as part of a straight doubleheader on Tuesday, June 5, and begin 30 minutes after the day's 4:10 p.m. ET originally scheduled contest. The two teams will recognize Sunday's Jackie Robinson Day during the first game of the doubleheader.

The second postponed game (Saturday) will be played as the first part of a split doubleheader on Friday, Sept. 28. The second game will remain at 8:10 p.m. ET as scheduled, with the makeup game added at 2:10 p.m. ET.

The final postponed game (Sunday) will be played Monday, Aug. 20, which was originally a day off for both teams.

Never before had back-to-back games been postponed in Target Field's nine seasons prior to the three straight over the weekend. Minnesota has had four of its last eight home games postponed by inclement weather.
