n Graduation losses included state qualifiers Sarah Hund and state divers Beth Pollock and Laura Polman.

- This year's captain is Anna Fuglestad. Aleasha Blokzyl, Alissa Tinklenberg, Emily Zondervan and Liz Gorans are returning state qualifiers.

- Fueled by state freestyle champion Marissa Woods, Sartell will challenge for CLC honors and may be strong enough to overtake four-time defending Class A champion Visitation. Defending CLC champ St. Cloud Tech, plus Fergus Falls and Brainerd will also make run. Alexandria and Little Falls are expected to be improved.

- Section 3A teams to beat are Hutchinson, Orono and Marshall.

- The Cardinals have potential to challenge for a top-five finish in the CLC and top three in the section.
