The Stingers, playing their inaugural season in the Northwoods League, will hold a promotion for each of their home games this season.

"Promotions are what make Northwoods League baseball great," said Stingers co-owner Ryan Voz. "We have 35 home games and each has something unique and fun for the entire family."

The Northwoods is an elite wood bat summer collegiate baseball league filled with some of the top players in the nation. The Stingers have already signed several Division I players and are currently waiting for league approval on many more.

Former professional wrestler Sgt. Slaughter will be on hand to throw out the first pitch and sign autographs on July 8.
