Graves wins Valley Golf club title

WILLMAR—Dave Graves won Valley Golf's Club Championship during the 2018 Club Tournament on Sept. 8-9.

In five, nine-hole rounds, Graves finished at 184, a stroke better than Josh Bernhagen and two shots ahead of Devin Johnson. Bill Iverson and Justin Wadsworth tied for fourth at 187 and Dustin Carlson was sixth with a 189.

In the Presidents Flight, Troy Pederson shot a three, nine-hole round total of 116. Kyler Kerschner was second at 117, Mike Saulsburg was third at 122 and Ryan Scheffler and Tyler tied for fourth at 124.

In the First Flight, Mike Negen was first, Lynn Rahn was second, Don Nelson was third and Kent Larson was the consolation champ.

In the Second Flight, Lowell Myers placed first, Dwayne Powers was second, Bill Severtson was third and Doyle Slagter was the consolation champ.

Ali Heying won the Women's Club Championship on Sept. 8 with an 18-hole total of 91. Kelsey Walz was second at 93 and Pam Mayer was third at 95.

In the Women's First Flight, Tammy Knapper won with a 91, Lisa Stephens was second at 97 and Tracy Berget, Lorna Bahl and Carol Tatge tied for third.

In the Senior Club Championship on Sept. 6-7, Bill Iverson won with a 27-hole total of 109. Dave Graves was second at 117 and Jeff Nagel was third at 118.

In the Senior First Flight, Lynn Rahn won the championship, Al Bjornberg was second, Gary Lingl was third and John Radabaugh won the consolation championship.

In the Senior Second Flight, George Christensen won the championship, Bill Severtson was second, Jerry VanDenEinde was third and Jerry Negen was the consolation champion.

In the Senior Third Flight, Tony Wasmund won the championship, Larry Serbus was second, Rollie Rauenhorst was third and Gene VanDenEinde won the consolation championship.
