SPICER -- John Patock of Sacred Heart and his amateur partner, Eric Camarote, took fifth place at the Silverado Pro-Am Bass Tour event at Green Lake June 6.

The duo brought in their limit of six fish, weighing a total of 19.1 pounds.

Brandon Moore and Cindy Poirier won the event with 20.07 pounds.

Jim Lokken, a amateur angler from Glenwood finished 17th with his professional partner, Andy Young, with 17.52 pounds.

"I really don't know of a better location to kick off the Silverado season than Green Lake," said tour director Billy Hildebrand. The smallmouth is, pound for pound the fightingest fish I've ever seen.

The next tour stop will be July 18 at Arrowwood Resort in the Alexandria Chain of Lakes area.
