Sno-Skippers Speed/Radar Runs -- The Sno-Skippers Snowmobile Club will host speed/radar run today at the Saulsbury Beach access on Green Lake in Spicer. Registration begins at 9 a.m. with runs from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. The cost is $15 per racer per class for three runs, then $5 per run thereafter. Radar runs are open to all classes. Wood Duck Habitat Day -- The Prairie Pothole Chapter of the Minnesota Waterfowl Association will hold its annual Wood Duck Habitat Day from 9 a.m.-noon Saturday, March 5 at Prairie Woods Environmental Learning Center near New London. The cost is $10 per house, with includes instructions, predator guard and pole. Prairie Pothole Chapter members will be available to help with construction.
NWTF 13th Annual Hunting Heritage Banquet -- The North Fork Crow River Double Beards Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation will hold its 13th Annual Hunting Heritage Banquet Friday, March 4 starting at 5:30 p.m. at the Sportsman's Den in Lake Henry. Black Powder Shoots -- The Willmar Rifle and Pistol Club will host black powder shoots once per month in February and March at the Willmar Indoor Range. The events run from 6-9 p.m., and are organized into shooting games, novelty targets and paper targets. The black powder shoots are open to traditional and inline black powder shooters.
