Girls Tennis: NLS thrashes GSL

GLENCOE — New London-Spicer won its sixth straight match Friday by overwhelming Glencoe-Silver Lake 6-1 in a Wright County Conference dual.

The Wildcats (5-2, 9-3) swept singles — all four wins were in straight sets — and also won at 1-doubles with Wally Gustafson/Louise Lung-strom and 3-doubles with Kylie Soine/Taylor Olson.

Winning in singles for NLS was Lisa Dobbelaere at No. 1, Abby Nelson at No. 2, MacKenzie Loftness at No. 3 and Taylor Bengtson at No. 4.

NLS now plays at former West Central Conference rival Melrose on Monday.
