Montevideo sent 16 batters to the plate during a 10-run fifth inning that included seven walks and five hits.

In all, the Thunder Hawks had 16 hits and were issued 23 walks.

Kayla Berget went 4-for-4 with a double and a triple for Montevideo (4-7, 7-7). Becca Pauling was 4-for-6. Shelby Monahan and Jenna Anderson had two hits apiece.

Karley Weir was 3-for-3 with a double and a triple for LQPV (2-10, 2-13). Ellissa Schmidt, Whitley Strei and Rachel Streich had two hits each.
