Redwood Valley nipped Yellow Medicine East 4-3 and Lac qui Parle Valley/Dawson-Boyd edged Montevideo 4-3 in the quarterfinals of Section 3A on Monday.

Luverne meets Redwood Valley in the semifinals today at noon. Worthington and LQPV/DB square off in the other semifinal at 2 p.m. The championship is at 4 p.m.

Redwood Valley 4, YME 3

Redwood Valley and Yellow Medicine East split singles with Clinton Repsher at No. 2 and David Nowacki at No. 3 winning for the Sting, but the Cardinals won two of three doubles matches in straight sets.

Travis Reznechek-Ethan Ator won at 2-doubles for the Sting.
