SACRED HEART -- Jamie Boonstra of Sacred Heart/MACCRAY singled home the winning run with one out in the bottom of the seventh to beat Granite Falls 3-2 Thursday.

Cody Boonstra's double positioned the lead run at third.

Granite Falls tied the score 2-2 by scoring single runs in the sixth and again in the seventh.

Dillon Hoffman, Dylan Lindstrom and Garrett Cole all doubled for Granite Falls, which outhit SHM 8-5.

Dylan Lindstrom took the loss. Steve Jakel went the distance for the win.

Kyle Athmann doubled twice and tripled to spark BOLD's offense. Tate Neubauer and Logan Sangren smacked two-run singles in a six-run sixth for the Mudhens.

Nick Buschette, Journey Jutz and Ryan Malepsy all tripled for Litchfield, which scored all its runs in the second.

Kyle Krause pitched the last three innings for the win.

It was the opener for BOLD, which amassed 15 hits. Litchfield is now 1-1.

While Tri-town struck first putting two runs on the board, it was New London-Spicer's Mitch Ejnik's fourth inning two-run double that broke the game open to put NLS on top.

NL-S brought a mean batting game during Thursday night's game as well connecting 17 times causing Tri-town to change out their pitchers three separate times.

Prinsburg's pitcher Tyler Daugherty kept Cottonwood off the boards Thursday night while the entire Prinsburg roster connected with the ball.

Daugherty threw a no-hitter, and also contributed on back-to-back triples with Sam Oden in the first inning.

The Prinsburg offense rang up seven runs on seven hits in the first two innings. Chris VanDyken singled twice and drove in three runs in a 13-hit attack.
