A combo of errors gave Kerkhoven the edge over Montevideo.

After going up 1-0 in the first, Kerkhoven's Aaren Glesne two-run single in the fourth put the team up 2-1.

Montevideo's Jeff Rohloff's RBI single up the middle scored Christian Brabender to tie the game.

It was Kerkhoven's Jonah Johnson that scored the winning run on errors at first and second and a wild pitch.

With six strikeouts, Colton Vien couldn't push Montevideo into the win column after hitting an RBI double.

Breckenridge's pitcher Preston Kappes threw for five strikeouts and helped score the go-ahead run with a double in the third.

Montevideo had the bases loaded in the seventh, but Kappes snagged the grounder and threw out the runner to end the game.

Down 6-3 in the fifth, Montevideo's Jeff Roloff tied the game with an RBI single followed by an RBI double by Kyle TeBeest.

A base hit, infield error and wild pitch helped solidified the win for Fairfax in the sixth.

Montevideo had a shot to take the game in the seventh with bases loaded, but a line drive to right field was caught to end the game.

Morris went 3-0 at its invitational.

In the exciting conclusion, Glenwood-Lowry scored five runs in the top of the sixth to tie the game 6-6. But Morris copied with five runs of its own and won 11-5.

Morris hit six homers, two by Brady Valnes who also doubled twice while going 5-for-8 for 5 RBI.
