Prep Softball: Bulldogs rally to beat Wildcats 7-4

NEW LONDON -- The Paynesville Bulldogs plated three runs in the top of the seventh to beat New London-Spicer 7-4 on Thursday.

Kayla Schaefer held the Wildcats scoreless in the bottom of the seventh. She finished with a six-hitter with four walks and eight strikeouts.

Schaefer doubled and scored the go-ahead run in the seventh.

Sam Dahl and Allie Stanger each had a pair of hits for the Bulldogs.

Aasta Bakke went 3-for-3 for the Wildcats with an RBI. Amanda Radel took the loss, allowing 10 hits with just one walk over seven innings.
