WILLMAR — The second annual Stephen Reynolds Memorial Alumni Hockey Game was up for grabs until the final buzzer at the Cardinal Arena Saturday evening.

Willmar Red held on for the 6-5 win, outshooting the White 32-22.

Each team scored on a penalty shot.

Eleven difference players scored a goal and five goalies took part. Participants numbered 43 going back to the Class of 1983.

The event had sponsorship from Play it Again Sports and ACMC. Principle planners were Joanna and Matt Schrupp, Tori and Glen Leitch and Terry and Kris Tone.

An old-timers game may be added in 2013.

All proceeds went to support the mission of the Stephen Reynolds Foundation.
